Mom’s Birthday

My mom, Carol, turned 65 yesterday! It’s hard for me to believe she is now officially a senior citizen because she looks and thinks much younger than her years. I’m so grateful that God has given her health and strength to make it this far. She has battled rheumatoid arthritis all of her life, and she has not conquered the disease, but it has not conquered her. She is a person of sweet spirit and strong faith, and she is an inspiration to me and to many others to keep fighting and believing despite many odds.

And oh yea, she reads my blog every day to see what crazy thoughts I have and what a crazy life I lead. And she still loves me.

Happy Birthday Mom! I love you.
