Not at Sundance? Listen to the Kindlings Muse Podcast

My friends from the Cultural Leadership Project gather at Sundance at each year, and I was very distraught not to be with them this year. Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah was one of the singular best experiences of my life, and I intend to be there every year. If you haven’t been, and you love film, you have to go.

If you are like me and you can’t get there this year, you can have a taste of Sundance by tuning in to the daily Kindlings Muse podcast from Sundance. My colleague at Pepperdine Craig Detweiler hosts these daily forums with the directors and actors from some of Sundance’s best films.

The forums explore the issues of life, faith and film, and in the conversations, we normally see that God has been looming over the film making process in ways that we would not have imagined. Yes, God is even at Sundance!

And if you are interested in the issues of faith and culture, I recommend The Kindlings Muse podcast on a regular basis. It’s one of my favorites.

Tune in later this week when I give you the top 10 list of films to put on your Netflix list from Sundance. I’m talking to all of my friends who are there and reading online reviews, and I’ll let my readers know the ones to watch in 2010.

Put on a heavy parka and a ski mask, get a cup of hot cocoa, pretend you are at Sundance and listen here every day this week:
