About Todd Bouldin

Todd Bouldin is passionate about helping others to become their best selves by maximizing their presence and leveraging their energy for the good of the world and those that they lead. Todd is a non-practicing attorney who serves as a facilitator, executive coach and trainer for individuals and Fortune 500 companies globally. Todd’s experience has spanned a diverse array of industries and sectors, both public and private, and on behalf of both domestic and EMEA clients. Todd retains residences in the San Francisco Bay Area of California and Nashville. He acts as a learning and talent development consultant for a number of industries including:

Todd’s professional interests lie in the development of the next generation of leaders, and he has a particular expertise in the leadership of Millennials as workplaces transition to new generations. His coaching practice, 2MBoldn, is a coaching firm for leaders and those who aspire to be who wish to enhance their executive presence and lead with purpose. Todd is:

Before beginning this work, Todd served at Pepperdine University in a full-time capacity as Special Assistant to the Provost and as a member of the Graduate School of Education’s Organizational Leadership faculty, and also served as a Visiting Assistant Professor of political science and government relations during these posts. In these posts, Todd taught hundreds of undergraduate and graduate students the fundamentals of American democracy and political leadership, and inspired many to public service and legal careers. While at Pepperdine, Todd combined his entrepreneurial and strategic skills with his passion for film to create academic programs that would incubate and produce entertainment “that matters” through the telling of stories that transform the mind and spirit. As the former coordinator of Pepperdine’s entertainment and media initiatives, Todd co-designed the University’s first ever Master of Fine Arts degree in screen and television writing and led the effort to create the University’s Institute for Entertainment, Media and Culture. Todd also served as the Technical Advisor to Director Jon Favreau for a congressional scene in the Marvel Studios release, Iron Man 2, in which he also appeared as a featured background actor. He also appeared in the indie political thriller Dragon Day. He also has been a featured background actor in over 70 TV and film productions including Parenthood 2, Bridesmaids, The Hangover 2, The Mentalist, Grey’s Anatomy, Glee, The Closer, Parks and Recreation, CSI NY, Brothers and Sisters, Mike and Molly. Todd’s IMDB profile is here.

Before entering academics, Todd managed several political campaigns and government offices. He was a White House Intern in 1993, legislative director to U.S. Representative Bob Clement from 1995-1997, deputy campaign manager for U.S. Representative Jim Cooper in 2002, and a Counselor to Vice President of the United States Al Gore in 2001. Todd received his Bachelor of Arts from Abilene Christian University, his Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Tennessee College of Law. Todd was Managing Editor of The Tennessee Law Review and studied European policy at the University of Bonn, Germany. Todd is the author of the book Divine Disruption and an upcoming book on the intergenerational workplace. He the co-founder of the tech startup Fanitics. He is a member of the Alumni Council, the University of Tennessee College of Law.

Todd is an avid fan of the Tennessee Volunteers, the Golden State Warriors, the Boston Red Sox, and the USC Trojans. He enjoys hiking the Bay Area, being on the water, watching independent film, acting in film and TV, traveling internationally, writing, tasting wine, reading biography, and dining in the world’s finest restaurants and dives.
